Arunachalam holds a Ph.D. in Remote Sensing and has over nine years of industry experience in the geospatial software development, most recently as a Lead Software Analyst (GIS Developer) at CGI in India. His background includes extensive work in ArcGIS Platform Customization, GIS Workflow Automation, Web Application Development, Remote Sensing, Geospatial Data Management, and analysis.

While new to the agricultural domain, Arunachalam is passionate about applying geospatial and data-driven technologies to real-world challenges. This postdoctoral opportunity allows him to transition into research, collaborate internationally, and contribute to sustainable and intelligent solutions in precision agriculture.
