A new PBS series features coastal Virginia and the seafood industry at its heart

Now Explore Where Virginia Locals Eat & Play... Virginia FOUND

PBS station WHRO Hampton Roads and select PBS stations will be airing the first of a four-part culinary / travel series Virginia FOUND in September. Join host Dave Parker as he explores history, culture and local cuisine in familiar and off-the-beaten-path. As a native Virginian, Dave brings his quick wit and knack for finding the people who help to tell an area's story, uncovering gems of small towns and the original tastes along Virginia’s Chesapeake Bay region.

The first episodes in the series will cover coastal Virginia and feature the local seafood industry.

In season one, come discover Virginia’s River Realm, the Eastern Shore and Yorktown/ Gloucester. Virginia FOUND will have you grinning like a local in no time! Dave Parker is a familiar face and voice in Hampton Roads, having been in television, radio and print in the area for over 24 years.
