Join the conversation
Aquaculture producers and stakeholders in the North Central Region are invited to participate in a webinar to learn about the knowledge gained through an assessment of past NCRAC-funded research efficacy. In a webinar led by Virginia Seafood AREC researcher Domena Agyeman, join industry leaders and researchers to dive into the findings and explore what projects benefited the industry most — and why. Understanding and applying these findings could help maximize impacts and inform a targeted approach to quantify the economic impact of future NCRAC projects.

More about the project
The North Central Regional Aquaculture Center (NCRAC) has provided funding for Extension services in the region and addressed a wide range of topics, including fish health, aquaponics, economics, pond management, and more. A review was performed to understand the effectiveness of NCRAC-funded research to aid in developing future research and Extension programs and maximize their impacts. The results provide insight into research funded by NCRAC between 1988 and 2019.
