Lexi Duscher, postdoctoral research associate studying cellular agriculture at the Virginia Seafood Agricultural Research and Extension Center (VSAREC), was invited to join other expert speakers at the 3rd Industrializing Cell-Based Meats & Seafood Digital Summit

As interest in the cellular agriculture industry grows among biotech, food & meats companies, and consumers, the summit creates a space for researchers and industry to come together to discuss the novel technological advances powering the new wave of cultivated meat products.

Duscher presented the cellular agriculture work she's been doing since joining the VSAREC team last year as part of a session exploring the opportunities and challenges in cell-based seafood.

The session featured cutting edge seafood-specific research from Duscher and other experts with the goal of framing actionable insights to help participants work towards successfully commercializing cell-based seafood products.
