My research is dedicated to improving agricultural productivity and sustainability by investigating plant-microbe interactions. I specifically investigate soilborne fungal pathogens, such as Fusarium, focusing on their virulence and how they interact with tobacco host plants. By gaining a deeper understanding of these dynamics, my work aims to develop more effective disease management strategies. These strategies are intended to help farmers achieve healthier tobacco crops and higher yields, ultimately enhancing agricultural output and contributing to more efficient and sustainable tobacco farming practices.
