From Blacksburg, Virginia
Take Interstate 81 north for approximately 25 miles, take the US 220 South exit until it ends, take a left on to US 460 East. Stay on US 460 East through Appomattox, Virginia. Near Burkeville, Virginia US 360-460 merge for about 1 mile. Veer right on US 460 (Petersburg) staying on US 460 East. Near Blackstone take the second exit, Road 606, at top of ramp turn right, turn left at Barco Avenue, go one block, turn right on US 460 business, turn left at first light Dinwiddie Avenue (also Highway 40 East). Travel approximately 1 1/2 miles east on Highway 40 past Fort Pickett main gate. Keep straight approximately 1/2 mile, crossing two railroad tracks. Just past the second railroad track, turn left. We are across from the Fort Pickett airport.

Take US 460 West, take the 609/460 Business exit near Blackstone, turning left on to 609/US 460 Business, go about 1 mile, turn left (first paved road - Military Highway). At stop sign, turn left, go about 1/2 mile, crossing two railroad tracks. We are just past second railroad track on the left. We are across from the Fort Pickett airport.
From Richmond, Virginia
Take US 360 West approximately 16 miles, turn left on to US 153 until it ends, turn right on to US 460 West, turn left on to 609/US 460 Business, go about 1 mile turn left (first paved road - Military Highway). At stop sign, turn left, go about 1/2 mile crossing two railroad tracks. We are just past second railroad track on the left. We are across from the Fort Pickett airport.

Take Dinwiddie Avenue (also Highway 40 East), travel approximately 1 1/2 miles east on Highway 40 past the Fort Pickett main gate. Keep straight approximately 1/2 mile, crossing two railroad tracks. Just past the second railroad track, turn left. We are across from the Fort Pickett airport.
